This is not to discredit those students who are responsible, but to raise the awareness of students who are not taking responsibility for themselves. School officials are looking into a proposed plan that outlines a budget of $1.3 million to improve campus safety. On Oct. 21 Palomar's Strategic Planning Council will be reviewing a plan that focuses on Palomar's emergency preparedness. According to President Robert Deegan, Palomar is well prepared for all sorts of crisis situations if they were to happen, however, the campus isn't one of the best when it comes to handling disasters, according to Deegan and he wants to change that.… Post the First Comment
 
If passed, Proposition 8 - a proposition on the ballot for the Nov. 4 California General Election - would eliminate the right for same-sex couples to marry.
