At approximately 3:20 p.m. Oct. 26, at the intersection of N. Las Posas Rd. and Camino Azul in San Marcos, Calif., there was a car crash that held up traffic for about 15 minutes. No one was injured.

Jaime Medrano, the driver of a white truck from McNamara Pump and Electric, was on his way to work when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a Toyota Camry.

Lieutenant Vic So'oto of Palomar College campus police said the impact of the accident pushed the cars approximately 40 meters apart and the truck ended up on the sidewalk.

The driver of the Toyota Camry is a resident of the area but he refused to give his name.

So'oto and North County Sheriff D. A. Barone were at the scene investigating the case.
